Ex-UFC fighter Sedriques Dumas takes down costumed fan in arena brawl

Sedriques Dumas, the former UFC fighter, was involved in a brawl at Duel Arena 1 on August 29 at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. The 10–5 fighter was seen taking down a fan dressed in a joker costume during a crowd disturbance that erupted in the stands, requiring security intervention to separate them.

The altercation occurred after the bout between Paul Miller and Ben Azoulay, which Miller won by split decision. The event's main event featured a significant upset as Mike Perry lost to Brandon Jenkins. Dumas's involvement in the incident is consistent with a pattern of controversy surrounding the fighter.

Dumas was arrested in 2025 in Escambia County, Florida, on charges including home invasion, battery, and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He fought three additional UFC bouts before being released from the promotion in July 2026 shortly after sentencing. Three charges were reportedly dropped; Dumas pleaded no contest to possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted Florida felon and possession of marijuana over 20 grams.
