About
Vertex MMA is a community platform for UFC fight discussion, custom rankings, and virtual coin betting. The Vertex Score is a 0–100 measure combining quality wins, championship pedigree, recent form, finishing rate, and defensive vulnerability across every UFC fighter with three or more bouts.
What the Vertex Score is
The Vertex Score rates each fighter from 0 to 100 from their UFC results — weighting quality wins, championship pedigree, recent form, finishing rate, activity and defensive vulnerability. Active fighters are shown on a current/divisional basis; retired fighters on an all-time basis.
Where our data comes from
Fighter, event and bout data is compiled from publicly available UFC statistics. The news feed aggregates headlines from public RSS sources, which we automatically classify and rephrase. Model picks and simulations are our own estimates and can be wrong.
Virtual currency
Coins are a free, in-app score for entertainment. They have no monetary value, can't be bought, sold, or cashed out, and don't represent real-money betting.
