Report: Women's flyweight clash booked for UFC 331
A women's flyweight matchup has been added to the UFC 331 lineup on September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Casey O'Neill will face Brazilian prospect Eduarda Moura in the bout, reported by Leo Guimaraes.
O'Neill (11-2), an Australian-Scottish standout, started her UFC career with four consecutive victories and appeared positioned as one of the division's rising stars. Her momentum stalled with back-to-back losses to Jennifer Maia and Ariane Lipski da Silva, though she has since rebounded with consecutive wins over Luana Santos and Gabriella Fernandes. Most notably, O'Neill's first-round knockout of Fernandes in March marked her return following an extended two-year Octagon absence.
Moura (12-2), a Dana White's Contender Series alumna, has posted a mixed 3-2 record in the UFC. The Brazilian is looking to rebuild her momentum after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Cong Wang in February. Both fighters will be seeking victories as the division continues to develop its roster of emerging talent at UFC 331.
