UFC 331: Flyweight tilt booked for promotion’s return to L.A.

The UFC has confirmed a women's flyweight matchup between Casey O'Neill and Eduarda Moura for UFC 331, scheduled for September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
O'Neill arrived in the UFC with momentum, recording four consecutive victories before suffering back-to-back losses to Jennifer Maia and Ariane Lipski. The Australian fighter has since regained her footing with two straight wins, most notably a first-round knockout of Gabriella Fernandes at UFC Seattle in March—her first fight in nearly two years. The victory demonstrated her striking prowess and ability to finish opponents decisively.
Moura, 32, brings a mixed record to the octagon. She sits at 3-2 across five UFC appearances, though her tenure with the promotion has been marked by inconsistency. A significant issue in her career has been weight management; Moura has missed weight three times during her time with the UFC. Most recently, she competed at UFC Vegas 113 in February, losing a decision to Wang Cong despite the weight miss.
This flyweight clash adds another layer to an increasingly competitive division, though the matchup remains one of several bouts on a card that currently lacks a headliner announcement despite the event being less than two months away.
