UFC Vegas 119 weigh-in results: 1 fighter misses weight by 3 pounds

UFC Vegas 119 held its official weigh-ins ahead of Saturday's card, with nearly all competitors hitting their marks—save for one notable miss. Flyweight Kevin Borjas tipped the scales at 129 pounds, three pounds over the 126-pound limit for his non-title bout against Andre Lima on the preliminary card. As a result, the matchup was moved to catchweight and Borjas forfeited 20 percent of his purse as penalty. The other 23 fighters all made weight without issue.
The main event heavyweights were official: Kyoji Horiguchi weighed 125 pounds for the flyweight title bout, while Manel Kape came in at 126 using the one-pound allowance for non-title fights. The rematch caps a nine-year wait for both men—they first met in December 2017 at a RIZIN event, when Horiguchi finished Kape via arm-triangle choke submission in the third round. The winner of Saturday's fight could earn a UFC flyweight title opportunity.
UFC Vegas 119 takes place Saturday with prelims starting at 5 p.m. ET and the main card at 8 p.m. ET, both streaming on Paramount+.
