Andre Lima has fired back at Bilal Hasan following their respective wins at UFC Shanghai, accusing the newcomer of showboating only once the microphone was in his hand. Both fighters earned impressive victories on the card, with Hasan securing a UFC contract via a 45-second knockout on Dana White's Contender Series before making an 18-day turnaround for his Shanghai debut, where he stopped Nilson Rojas in the second round. Lima, meanwhile, also prevailed at the event.

During his post-fight interview, Hasan stated he was unimpressed with Lima's performance while watching from the locker room before his own bout. Lima responded by calling out Hasan, but the Indonesian-American fighter then avoided him entirely. "Every time he saw me at the hotel, he'd walk by with his head down," Lima wrote on X. "Then he gets a microphone in his hand and suddenly wants to talk sh*t. Damn rookies."

Lima emphasized that he remains healthy and has already instructed his manager to secure his next opponent. The jab at Hasan appears rooted in perceived disrespect masked by a show of bravado—a common friction point in fighter debuts when newcomers try to establish themselves by targeting established names.
