UFC Vegas 119 weigh-in results: Main event set; 1 fighter heavy

UFC Vegas 119 weigh-ins took place ahead of Saturday's Fight Night 279 card, with all fighters hitting their targets except for one. The main event—a flyweight rematch between Kyoji Horiguchi and Manel Kape—is officially set after both competitors made weight.

Horiguchi, Japan's bantamweight ace, weighed exactly 125 pounds and enters the rematch riding an eight-fight unbeaten streak and 2-0 since returning to the UFC. He defeated Kape nearly a decade ago at the 2017 Rizin Bantamweight Grand Prix via third-round arm-triangle submission and is chasing a title shot with another victory. Kape, the hard-hitting Angolan striker, weighed in at 126 pounds. He has won three straight since his loss to Muhammad Mokaev and recently scored the biggest UFC win of his career by knockout over Brandon Royval. Like Horiguchi, Kape is a former Rizin bantamweight champion.

One fighter missed weight: flyweight Kevin Borjas came in 3 pounds heavy at 129 pounds for his bout against Andre Lima and will forfeit 20 percent of his purse as a result.
