‘A milestone in history’: Natalia Silva confident Brazil will hold all UFC women’s titles by end of 2026

Natalia Silva is confident that Brazil will achieve a historic milestone by holding all three UFC women's titles simultaneously before the end of 2026, provided she and Amanda Nunes capture the flyweight and bantamweight belts in upcoming bouts.
Silva faces Wang Cong on Saturday in Salt Lake City for the vacant 125-pound title at UFC 332, while Nunes is set to challenge reigning bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison on November 14 at UFC 334 in New York. With Mackenzie Dern already holding the strawweight championship, a sweep of the women's divisions would represent an unprecedented concentration of dominance for one nation.
"Three Brazilian champions at the same time would be a milestone in history," Silva told MMA Fighting. "It would be a historic moment for women's and Brazilian MMA."
Silva has compiled an unblemished 8-0 UFC record, including consecutive victories over former champions Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso, and Rose Namajunas. She earned her title shot after Valentina Shevchenko vacated the flyweight crown due to injury. Wang advanced to the title bout following her fourth consecutive promotional win, a decision triumph over Tracy Cortez.
Silva expressed unwavering self-belief throughout her ascent, describing herself as already possessing a champion's mentality long before fighting for official recognition. She acknowledged that Shevchenko's absence—though disappointing—does not diminish the legitimacy of whoever claims the vacant belt. "If I win the title, I'm the undisputed champion," Silva stated, adding that a potential future showdown with Shevchenko remains possible should both fighters remain active.
