Ciryl Gane vs. Josh Hokit, Kayla Harrison vs. Amanda Nunes title fights set for UFC 334

The UFC announced two major title fights for its Nov. 14 event at Madison Square Garden in New York during Saturday's UFC 331 broadcast. Ciryl Gane will headline UFC 334 against undefeated heavyweight Josh Hokit, while bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison faces returning legend Amanda Nunes in the co-main event.
Gane (14-2, 1 NC), the reigning interim heavyweight champion, seeks undisputed status after the previous undisputed champion Tom Aspinall vacated the belt due to ongoing eye injuries. Gane, a two-time interim champion, has twice fought for undisputed gold but fallen short against Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou. His opponent Hokit (10-0) has emerged as one of MMA's breakout stars, going 4-0 in the UFC since being signed from the Contender Series in 2025. Hokit has won three fights in six months, including a knockout over Derrick Lewis and a Fight of the Year clash with Curtis Blaydes at UFC 327.
In the co-main event, Harrison (19-1) and Nunes (23-5) will finally meet after their UFC 324 bout in January was cancelled when Harrison required neck surgery. Harrison won the bantamweight title via second-round submission over Julianna Peña at UFC 316 and seeks her first title defense. Nunes, widely regarded as the greatest fighter in women's MMA history, previously held UFC titles at 145 and 135 pounds. After stepping away in 2023, she returns to face Harrison, her former American Top Team teammate. Nunes won 14 of her last 15 fights before her sabbatical, earning redemption with a dominant five-round decision over Peña at UFC 277 following a shocking earlier submission loss.
