Professional Fighters League inks undefeated lightweight for Long Island card

The Professional Fighters League has added a lightweight matchup to PFL New York at Long Island, pairing undefeated prospect Levan Khabalaev against Ryan Gerena.

Khabalaev (5-0), trained at Longo's MMA, hails from Russia and has competed recently in Cage Fury Fighting Championships and Legacy Fighting Alliance, securing finishes in two of his last three victories. Gerena (4-1), a fellow New York native, has spent his entire career with Flex Fight Series and enters the bout riding a four-fight winning streak following an early-career loss. Three of Gerena's victories have come by stoppage.
