Ronda Rousey hints she could return for another MVP MMA fight

Ronda Rousey has not ruled out a return to Most Valuable Promotions (MVP MMA) despite announcing her retirement following her dominant first-round submission victory over Gina Carano in May. The historic bout headlined MVP's inaugural card on Netflix, marking Rousey's comeback to mixed martial arts after a decade away from competition.

When asked by Fight Culture whether she would compete at MVP MMA 2, the 39-year-old remained non-committal. "We'll see," Rousey said. "We need to kind of reconvene and see what the future looks like. I think everyone is just kind of decompressing and getting back to post-that huge of an event fight life."

Rousey's career has seen significant peaks and valleys. The former UFC champion compiled a 13-2 record and five consecutive title defenses before suffering back-to-back losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes that derailed her dominance at bantamweight. After stepping away from MMA, she pursued a career in professional wrestling with WWE before eventually returning to fight under the MVP banner.

Her submission of Carano demonstrated that Rousey retains dangerous striking and grappling abilities despite her long absence. The fighter's cautious stance on her future suggests she and MVP's leadership are taking time to evaluate the commercial and competitive landscape before committing to another bout.
