Watch Renato Moicano tap out Patricky Pitbull in grappling match

UFC lightweight Renato Moicano submitted former Bellator champion Patricky Pitbull with an arm-triangle choke at BJJ Stars 19, a grappling event held Friday night in São Paulo, Brazil. Moicano countered a takedown, moved into Pitbull's guard, and transitioned to mount position before securing the submission in just under four minutes.

Moicano is set to return to UFC competition on September 19 at UFC 331 in Los Angeles, where he will face Brian Ortega. Pitbull, meanwhile, has not yet booked his next MMA bout following two recent losses in RIZIN.

In other action at BJJ Stars 19, former WSOF and ONE Championship fighter Gregor Gracie won the one-night masters grand prix tournament, earning a R$200,000 prize (approximately $39,400) after recording three submissions across four matches.
