Patricio Pitbull vs. Doo Ho Choi

Patricio Pitbull (37-9), a former two-division Bellator champion, faced Doo Ho Choi (17-4-1) in a UFC 331 featherweight matchup at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. At 39, Pitbull was seeking to prove he remained a world-class competitor following mixed results since his 2025 UFC debut, which included a decision loss to Yair Rodriguez, a win over Dan Ige, and a decision defeat to fellow Bellator veteran Aaron Pico.

Choi was riding momentum from three consecutive knockout victories over Daniel Santos, Nate Landwehr, and Bill Algeo. "The Korean Superboy" had been involved in several of the UFC's most memorable fights since joining in 2014, including his Hall of Fame-caliber classic against Cub Swanson at UFC 206.

Referee Mike Beltran oversaw the matchup. The fight saw both competitors trading strikes at range early, with Pitbull mixing head and body attacks while Choi sought to disrupt Pitbull's rhythm with combinations and uppercuts. Pitbull gained the upper hand as the round progressed, landing a stiff jab and continuing to push forward. A devastating right hand from Pitbull rocked Choi badly, and he immediately followed up, forcing Choi to cover. Beltran stepped in to stop the action.

Official result: Patricio Pitbull def. Doo Ho Choi via first-round KO (punches) (3:28)
