Brendan Allen faces top middleweight in UFC Vegas 122 main event

Brendan Allen will headline UFC Vegas 122 against Christian Leroy Duncan in a high-stakes middleweight matchup on October 10 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Both fighters bring impressive win streaks into the bout, creating a clash between two of the division's most in-form competitors.
Allen, ranked seventh in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings at 185 pounds, has captured three consecutive victories and sits at 27–7 overall. His recent success includes an upset triumph over Reinier de Ridder in the main event of UFC Vancouver, and most recently a unanimous decision over Edmen Shahbazyan in June. The string of wins has re-established Allen as a legitimate contender following an earlier two-fight losing stretch.
Duncan brings equally compelling credentials to the matchup. A former Cage Warriors middleweight champion, Duncan has gone 5–0 since his initial 3–2 UFC record, demonstrating significant improvement as he has adjusted to the promotion's level of competition. His recent victories include decision wins over veterans Jared Cannonier and Roman Dolidze, as well as knockout triumphs against Eryk Anders and Marco Tulio. At 15–2, Duncan has proven himself a force in the middleweight ranks.
The UFC Vegas 122 main event will serve as a crucial test for both fighters as they vie for positioning in the increasingly crowded middleweight title picture. Additional bouts for the October 10 card are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
