PFL pulls plug on Saudi Arabia card Friday

The PFL has postponed PFL MENA 10, the Saudi Arabia event scheduled for Friday in Jeddah, citing internal operational and event readiness considerations.

The promotion announced the decision Wednesday, stating the event at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium Sports Hall would be postponed "until further notice." No new date has been confirmed, and the status of individual bouts—including the planned catchweight main event between Hattan Alsaif and Dania Ouhachi, plus welterweight and flyweight tournament quarterfinal matchups—remains unclear.

"The decision is based on internal operational and event readiness considerations, as we continue to ensure the highest standards of delivery," the PFL said in a statement. "We remain committed to hosting PFL MENA in Jeddah and look forward to welcoming fans for what promises to be another exciting night of world-class mixed martial arts action."

This marks the second time PFL has cancelled a Saudi Arabia card in recent months. PFL MENA 8, originally scheduled for May 8 in Khobar, was scrapped in April with minimal advance notice.

With the Jeddah card off the calendar, the PFL's next event is now the San Diego show on June 27. That card will feature former Bellator champion A.J. McKee facing undefeated featherweight Salamat Isbulaev in the main event, with former Bellator and PFL titleholder Liz Carmouche battling Viviane Araujo in the co-main event.
