Ilias Bulaid vs Erick Visconde pulled from Week 8 of Contender Series, rescheduled to end of season

A last-minute illness forced the featherweight opener off Dana White's Contender Series Week 8 card. Ilias Bulaid, originally scheduled to face Erick Visconde on Tuesday night at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas, became ill hours before the event began, despite having successfully made weight the previous day. The bout was rescheduled to Week 10 of Season 10. Visconde's coach, Chad George, confirmed the sudden change via social media, noting they had to return to Los Angeles just 20 minutes before heading to the venue. Bulaid is an accomplished kickboxer with an undefeated 9-0 (1 NC) MMA record and previous experience in Bellator and UAE Warriors. Visconde, a 17-3 MMA veteran, recently won the vacant LFA featherweight title in May. The card proceeded with four fights instead of the planned five.
