Patricio Pitbull vs. Doo Ho Choi added to UFC 331 in Los Angeles

A featherweight matchup between Patricio Pitbull and Doo Ho Choi is set for UFC 331 on September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Pitbull (37-9), the former two-division Bellator champion, enters coming off a decision loss to Aaron Pico in April that dropped his UFC record to 1-2. The Brazilian compiled a 24-6 record during his successful run in Bellator before moving to the UFC, and currently ranks No. 15 on the MMA Fighting Global Rankings. His sole UFC victory to date came via decision over Dan Ige.

Choi (17-4-1), known as "The Korean Superboy," has won three straight bouts since 2024, including knockout victories over Bill Algeo and Nate Landwehr. Most recently in May, he earned a knockout finish and "Fight of the Night" bonus money with a victory over Daniel Santos. A fan-favorite throughout his UFC tenure, Choi has cashed in six bonuses across ten octagon appearances, including a memorable war with Hall of Famer Cub Swanson in 2016.

The UFC has yet to announce a headlining fight for UFC 331.
