Johnny Eblen and Impa Kasanganay will meet for a second time in the main event, with the interim Professional Fighters League middleweight championship on the line. Originally scheduled to face champion Costello van Steenis in a rematch, Eblen instead returns to face Kasanganay, whom he defeated in their first encounter during the 2024 PFL vs. Bellator event. Both combatants made weight for Saturday's showdown. Eblen, 17-1, holds a 3-1 PFL record and has won his last two fights—a submission victory over Bryan Battle and a prior win against Fabian Edwards. He suffered his first career loss to van Steenis in 2025, submitted in the fifth round. Kasanganay, 20-6, has compiled a 5-2 record since their initial meeting, notching wins over Dalton Rosa and Joshua Silveira while absorbing losses to Edwards and Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov. Featherweight Jesus Pinedo came in 0.8 pounds over the limit and will face a purse fine. The PFL Austin main card airs Saturday, July 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN2, with prelims streaming on the ESPN app at 5:30 p.m. ET.
