Lightweight clash added to UFC Belgrade lineup

Ludovit Klein will face Tofiq Musayev in a lightweight bout at UFC Belgrade on August 1 at Belgrade Arena. The matchup was confirmed by Musayev via social media following initial reporting. UFC Belgrade, officially designated as UFC Fight Night 283, will be headlined by a welterweight showdown between Uros Medic and Daniel Rodriguez.

Klein, a Slovak fighter, arrives as a heavy favorite on form. The "Mr. Highlight" moniker fighter has won five of his last six Octagon appearances, most recently claiming a majority decision over Mateusz Rebecki at UFC 321 in October. His striking-oriented style has made him a fan favorite in the lightweight division.

Musayev brings international pedigree after stints in Bellator and Rizin before joining the UFC roster. The Azerbaijan-based fighter is still finding his footing in the Las Vegas promotion at 1–1. His UFC debut ended in a first-round submission loss to Myktybek Orolbai, but he rebounded with a decision victory over Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC Seattle on March 28.
