Jiri Prochazka warns Paulo Costa after claiming UFC offered fight

Jiri Prochazka has warned Paulo Costa to stop tagging and mentioning him on social media unless the Brazilian is ready to fight. The Czech light heavyweight contends that the UFC has already offered Costa a matchup against him for October or November, and he's prepared to accept.

Costa, a former middleweight title challenger, has been firing shots at light heavyweight contenders as he approaches the final fight on his current contract. He criticized former champion Magomed Ankalaev's recent performance at UFC Abu Dhabi and took aim at Prochazka over his loss to current champion Carlos Ulberg. Prochazka has responded directly, stating via Instagram: "Don't tag me, don't mention me in your posts. Because you have an offer from UFC to fight me in October or November. And if you don't want to fight me, don't mention me, don't speak about me. I'm waiting for the contract for this fight."

The light heavyweight division's landscape has grown increasingly complicated. Ulberg is expected to be sidelined until next year due to injury, Ankalaev's recent win failed to impress, and Dana White has suggested the possibility of an interim title bout. Prochazka is hunting a rebound after his frustrating loss to Ulberg, while Costa appears intent on securing the right matchup to conclude his time with the promotion.
