Jiri Prochazka has shut down speculation linking him to an interim light heavyweight title fight against Paulo Costa. The former UFC light heavyweight champion, who suffered a first-round knockout loss to reigning champ Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327, took to social media to clarify that no bout has been officially confirmed.

Ulberg sustained an ACL injury during his title defense, prompting the UFC to consider an interim championship bout while he recovers—expected to return next year. With rumors pairing Prochazka against Costa for that interim strap, the Czech fighter addressed the chatter directly. "Fight is not confirmed yet, still working on that," Prochazka wrote on Instagram, urging fans not to believe "every bullsh*t on internet."

Prochazka emphasized his commitment to thorough preparation, stating he wants to break down his approach and return to fundamentals. "There are still levels that can be reached, and right now I am very grateful to see them clearly," he added. While Prochazka maintains his training regimen, the lack of an officially announced main event for UFC 332 on October 3 in Salt Lake City continues to fuel speculation that a Prochazka-Costa interim title bout could headline the card. Until the UFC makes an official announcement, however, Prochazka's next fight remains unconfirmed.
