‘I fear no man’: Kalinn Williams ready to test Roberto Soldic’s hype

Kalinn Williams has accepted a UFC matchup against Roberto Soldic at UFC 332 on October 3 at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, embracing the challenge despite Soldic's rising reputation. The fight came together in just days, but Williams showed no hesitation in taking the bout.

Williams (16–5) will face Soldic (21–4), a former two-division KSW champion who competed three times in ONE Championship before signing with the UFC. Williams acknowledges Soldic's dangerous striking and proven resume but remains unfazed by the hype surrounding his opponent.

"I fear no man," Williams told MMA Junkie. "We all bleed the same, we all breathe the same and we're just going to find out who wants it more. When all that hype, all them names, all the expectation, all that disappears, it's just me and you." For Williams, defeating a high-profile name like Soldic would significantly elevate his standing in the division.

Williams enters the fight off a first-round TKO victory over Nikolay Veretennikov in May. He views the Soldic matchup as an ideal opportunity to add a significant win to his record, one that could reshape perceptions of his standing among welterweight contenders.
