Jon Jones reveals why F1 star Lewis Hamilton called him a coward, blocked him on social media

Jon Jones has revealed the unusual circumstances behind Lewis Hamilton calling him a coward and blocking him on social media. In 2021, while between UFC light heavyweight and preparing to move to heavyweight, Jones went on a helicopter hunting trip with Army Rangers, where he shot and killed a pig using an AR-15. The pig was subsequently donated to an underprivileged family in the community. Hamilton, fresh off winning his seventh Formula 1 world championship, apparently took issue with the method. According to Jones, the F1 legend sent him a lengthy message criticizing the approach, arguing that animals should be hunted traditionally with a spear or bow and arrow to give them a fair chance. Jones said Hamilton believed only a coward would shoot an animal from a helicopter. Before Jones could respond to the message, Hamilton unfollowed and blocked him across social media. Jones, who had been a fan of the F1 driver, expressed regret about the incident during an interview with ALF Global, apologizing to Hamilton and stating he would not hunt in that manner again.
