Paddy Pimblett has escalated his long-running feud with Ilia Topuria by purchasing the stool Topuria used during his UFC White House fight in June, spending $13,700 on the item and branding it a "collector's item" on social media.

The two lightweights have been at odds for several years, even flirting with the possibility of a title-fight matchup at one point, though it never materialized. That rivalry took on new meaning when Topuria faced Justin Gaethje at UFC White House, where Gaethje dominated him so thoroughly that Topuria's corner threw in the towel before the fifth round began.

Pimblett has used that outcome as ammunition in his ongoing trash talk with Topuria. While Pimblett also lost to Gaethje, his defeat came by decision in January—a far more competitive showing than Topuria's stoppage loss. By purchasing Topuria's corner stool, Pimblett is taking a highly visible victory lap over his rival's poor performance.

The move comes on the heels of one of Pimblett's finest performances. Earlier this month at UFC 329, "The Baddy" recorded the biggest win of his career, submitting Benoit Saint Denis in under a minute. With momentum on his side and Topuria's stock diminished, Pimblett's expensive joke underscores the psychological edge he now holds in their unresolved beef.
