UFC 331 weigh-in results: Title fight rematch set
UFC 331 weigh-ins took place in Los Angeles with all 12 fighters on the card successfully making weight ahead of Saturday's event on Paramount+.
The headline attraction is a flyweight championship rematch between Joshua Van and Alexandre Pantoja, both tipping the scales at exactly 125 pounds. Van claimed the title nine months ago in dramatic fashion when Pantoja suffered a freak arm injury just 26 seconds into their first fight at UFC 323. The 24-year-old champion has since defended his belt by knockout against Tatsuro Taira, while Pantoja has been sidelined recovering from that injury. Now "The Cannibal" gets his shot at redemption against "The Fearless" in a five-round title fight.
Pantoja, a 30-6 veteran, had been riding an eight-fight win streak before the injury. He originally won the flyweight crown by defeating Brandon Moraeno in 2023 and successfully defended it four times before losing to Van.
