Darren Till vs. Yoel Romero booked for BKFC event in Manchester

Darren Till will make his second bare-knuckle appearance when he faces former UFC title contender Yoel Romero in the main event of a BKFC card at Manchester's AO Arena on September 26. The bout is scheduled for 190 pounds.
Till's transition to bare-knuckle boxing has been swift since he signed a multi-fight deal with BKFC earlier this year. After teasing the move for years, the British fighter made his promotional debut in May, where he overcame an opening-round flash knockdown against Aaron Chalmers to secure a knockout victory. Now he faces a significantly more experienced opponent in Romero, a former UFC middleweight title challenger with notable striking credentials.
Romero is returning to BKFC action following a successful debut with the promotion in 2025, which he capped with a knockout win. However, his second bare-knuckle outing—contested outside BKFC under a Russian promotion—ended in a controversial decision loss. The upcoming Manchester clash gives Romero a chance to regain momentum against Till in what promises to be a striking-heavy encounter between two heavy-handed competitors.
Additional bouts for the card are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
