Former UFC stars Darren Till, Yoel Romero set for BKFC 94 clash
Former UFC fighters Darren Till and Yoel Romero will face each other in a light heavyweight bare-knuckle boxing match at BKFC 94 on September 26 in Manchester, England.
Till (18-5-1) left the UFC in 2022 after a three-fight losing streak but found success in professional boxing under the Misfits banner, winning three consecutive bouts and capturing the title against Luke Rockhold in 2025. After departing Misfits earlier this year, Till signed with BKFC and made a successful debut by knocking out Aaron Chalmers in May.
Romero (17-7) retired from MMA in 2024 and has since competed across multiple combat sports, including bare-knuckle boxing and wrestling promotions. The 49-year-old "Soldier of God" earned a knockout win in his BKFC debut but dropped a decision at IBA Bare Knuckle in March. He rebounded with a knockout victory at Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA in May.
Both fighters now compete in BKFC, where Till has established momentum early. The September matchup will pit two former elite mixed martial artists against each other in the bare-knuckle format as they continue their careers outside traditional MMA.
