Vadim Nemkov vs. Sergei Bilostenniy heavyweight title fight headlines PFL Dubai

The PFL announced Monday that Vadim Nemkov will make his first heavyweight title defense against Sergei Bilostenniy in the main event of PFL Dubai on November 14 at Coca-Cola Arena.
Nemkov (20-2, 1 NC) claimed the vacant heavyweight crown in December by submitting Renan Ferreira in the opening round. The Russian fighter brings an impressive resume to the bout, having previously reigned as Bellator's light heavyweight champion with four consecutive successful title defenses before transitioning upward when PFL acquired Bellator. Since 2016, Nemkov has compiled a 14-1-1 record and now holds the No. 11 ranking among heavyweight contenders in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings.
Bilostenniy arrives as a dangerous challenger off the back of his own notable win over Ferreira, whom he defeated via strikes in the third round at PFL Sioux Falls. Across his seven appearances in PFL and Bellator combined, the fighter owns a 5-2 record and has won five of his last six fights. His recent accomplishments include a two-minute heel hook submission victory over Tyrell Fortune, a heavyweight currently ranked in the UFC.
The matchup sets up an intriguing heavyweight clash between a dominant champion transitioning from light heavyweight and a rising challenger with momentum and quality wins on his record. Nemkov's undefeated streak since 2016 will face its sternest heavyweight test against Bilostenniy in Dubai.
