UFC 329 weigh-in results: Conor McGregor makes weight for 1st fight since 2021

Conor McGregor officially made weight Friday for UFC 329, stepping to the scale for the first time in nearly five years. The Irish striker came in at 170.5 pounds—using a one-pound allowance for the non-title bout—ahead of his welterweight rematch against Max Holloway (170) on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The two fought once before in August 2013 when both were rising featherweight prospects; McGregor won that decision.
McGregor's return marks his first octagon appearance since suffering a leg break in his UFC 264 loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021. A scheduled comeback against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024 fell through due to a toe injury. The 37-year-old has also faced legal troubles outside competition, including being found liable for sexual assault in a civil suit in November 2024.
Holloway, seeking redemption from that 2013 defeat, made weight at 170 pounds. The co-main event features lightweight contenders Benoit Saint Denis (156) and Paddy Pimblett (156), both using the one-pound allowance. All 28 fighters on the UFC 329 card successfully made weight. The event airs entirely on Paramount+ on Saturday, with early prelims at 5 p.m. ET, prelims at 7 p.m. ET, and the main card at 9 p.m. ET.
