UFC 329 weigh-in results: Conor McGregor makes weight for Octagon return
Conor McGregor has officially made weight for his long-awaited UFC 329 return, setting up a 13-year rematch with Max Holloway on Saturday. The Irish superstar weighed 170.5 pounds Friday, while Holloway came in at 170 for the five-round welterweight bout in Las Vegas. All 13 fighters across the card successfully made weight.
McGregor's comeback represents his first octagon appearance since July 2021, when he suffered a devastating leg break in a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. A scheduled return against Michael Chandler last June fell apart due to injury. The 37-year-old hasn't won since his rapid 40-second knockout of Donald Cerrone in 2020, leaving questions about his form after nearly four years away and a turbulent period outside the sport marked by legal controversies.
Holloway, now 34, carries his own narrative into the rematch. Since their 2013 encounter—a clear decision loss—the Hawaiian has captured the featherweight title and delivered one of MMA's most legendary finishes, a knockout of Justin Gaethje at UFC 300. He'll look to rebound from a lackluster performance against Charles Oliveira in March.
The UFC 329 card airs entirely on Paramount+ Saturday. Early prelims begin at 5 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 8 p.m. ET.
