Jake & Logan Paul launch ‘ruthless’ fight-to-survive reality show
Jake Paul and Logan Paul are launching a new unscripted combat sports competition series for Hulu and ESPN, set to begin production in 2027. The untitled show will feature fighters from mixed martial arts, boxing, and traditional martial arts competing under a novel format designed to prioritize direct combat over traditional elimination voting.
The Paul brothers will each coach one team, with fighters living and training together before competing in head-to-head matchups. Unlike typical reality competition shows where producers or audiences determine eliminations, this series gives competitors the power to choose their own opponents—a strategic wrinkle designed to heighten stakes and unpredictability.
"This series is a ruthless competition where eliminations are not settled by a vote; they are settled by a fight," according to the official synopsis. The competition continues until one male and one female fighter remain standing as champions.
The concept reflects the Paul brothers' stated vision of centering combat athletes in a high-stakes survival format. "This series takes everything we love about competitive combat and turns it into a high-stakes survival spectacle for today's audiences," Jake and Logan said in a joint statement. "You choose your opponent, fight to stay and have nowhere to hide."
Produced in partnership with MVP (Most Valuable Promotions), Nakisa Bidarian's company, and Wheelhouse Entertainment, the series aims to appeal to combat sports audiences seeking authentic fighter-driven competition beyond traditional league structures.
