Bellator vet Kimbo Slice Jr. booked against Anderson Silva's son at Brand Risk 15
The sons of two iconic MMA figures are set to compete in celebrity boxing at Brand Risk Promotions 15 on August 22 in Miami. Gabriel Silva, son of former UFC middleweight champion Anderson "The Spider" Silva, will face Kevin Ferguson Jr.—better known as "Baby Slice"—in a boxing matchup that pits the legacies of two legendary fighters against each other.
Gabriel Silva has been active on the influencer boxing circuit and holds a recent victory over Ben Davis. Ferguson, whose father Kimbo Slice became a cult phenomenon in the 2000s through backyard fighting and later appearances on "The Ultimate Fighter," has split his combat sports career between MMA and boxing. He competed in Bellator before transitioning to the influencer boxing scene.
Anderson Silva remains tied with Islam Makhachev for the UFC record of most consecutive wins, though Makhachev could break that mark at UFC 330. The elder Ferguson, Kimbo Slice, fought in the UFC before losing to Matt Mitrione.
Brand Risk 15 is headlined by YouTubers Austin McBroom and Thomas "FaZe Temperrr" Oliveira, with streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy facing bodybuilder Larry Wheels in the co-main event. The card airs free on all major platforms at 7 p.m. EST from Miami.
