Bidder pays $60,000 at Neymar auction for fan experiences with Alex Pereira, Charles Oliveira

An anonymous bidder paid R$310,000 ($60,500) at the Instituto Projeto Neymar charity auction in São Paulo on Monday night for exclusive fan experiences with UFC stars Alex Pereira and Charles Oliveira. The winning package also included a pair of autographed boxing gloves from heavyweight legends Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield.

The auction, hosted annually by football star Neymar Jr., raises funds for the Instituto Projeto Neymar, which provides support and resources to approximately 3,000 children and teenagers in the coastal city of Praia Grande. The experience with Oliveira includes a full day at his home in Guarujá, featuring lunch and training sessions with the recently crowned BMF champion. Pereira's portion of the package involves a trip to the United States, where the bidder will enjoy a comparable training experience alongside the former middleweight title challenger and the opportunity to shoot bow and arrow—one of Pereira's known passions outside the cage.

Both fighters remain without scheduled UFC bouts. Oliveira, known as "Do Bronx," recently secured the BMF title by defeating Max Holloway in a high-profile matchup. Pereira, nicknamed "Poatan," fell short in his bid for a third UFC championship when he lost an interim middleweight title fight to Ciryl Gane at a special event held at the White House in June. While the organization did not disclose this year's total fundraising from the auction, the 2025 edition—which also featured Oliveira—raised $5.1 million across all lots.
