PFL San Diego weigh-in results: A.J. McKee's return set; 1 fighter heavy
The Professional Fighters League held official weigh-ins for its inaugural San Diego event on Friday, June 26, with all fighters making weight except one. The nine-fight card is now officially set ahead of Saturday's fights on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
Former Bellator featherweight champion A.J. McKee headlines the event in his return to competition for the second time this year. The 31-year-old "Mercenary" (24-2) weighed in at 145.6 pounds and faces undefeated Kazakhstani prospect Salamat Isbulaev (10-0), who came in at 145.8 pounds. McKee enters on the back of consecutive victories over Akhmed Magomedov and Adam Borics via decision since his 2024 split-decision loss to Paul Hughes. For Isbulaev, just 29 years old, this represents the biggest opportunity of his career. The prospect is 1-0 inside the PFL after knocking out Jesus Pinedo earlier in 2026.
One fighter missed the scales: bantamweight Sarvarjon Khamidov came in 1.6 pounds over the limit at 137.6 pounds and will be fined a percentage of his purse as a result. He faces Justtin Wetzell (135.6) on the card. The remaining seven matchups all made weight cleanly.
The main card begins Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, with preliminary fights kicking off at 8 p.m. ET. All bouts will stream on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
