20-0 Rajabali Shaidullaev agrees to two-year MVP deal, per report

Undefeated featherweight Rajabali Shaidullaev has secured a two-year deal with PFL/MVP ahead of the promotion's rebranding in 2027, according to reports from Ariel Helwani. The 25-year-old recently captured the PFL championship and retained his Rizin featherweight title in the same night, earning a unanimous decision victory over A.J. McKee at Super Rizin 5.

Shaidullaev's victory over McKee marked the first time the 20-0 prospect went the distance, having finished all previous opponents in his undefeated run. Before transitioning to the rebranded PFL/MVP structure in January 2027, Shaidullaev is scheduled to make one final Rizin appearance on the promotion's New Year's Eve card, where he will defend his featherweight title against Kyoma Akimoto.

The deal represents a significant commitment from the merged PFL-MVP organization to retain one of the sport's most dominant emerging talents as it embarks on its new chapter.
