Sedriques Dumas gets new opponent on 2 days’ notice at UFC Vegas 121

Sedriques Dumas will face a new opponent at UFC Vegas 121 this Saturday after Mickey Gall withdrew due to medical issues discovered during fight-week physicals. Luis Hernandez steps in on two days' notice to take Gall's spot against Dumas. Hernandez, who signed with the UFC earlier this month after a second-round rear-naked choke submission of Hugo Guillon on Dana White's Contender Series, will be competing just 11 days after that victory—one of the fastest turnarounds in DWCS history. Dumas enters the bout riding a four-fight winless streak, with three of those losses coming by stoppage; his last victory came in August 2024 via unanimous decision over Denis Tiuliulin. UFC Vegas 121 will proceed with 12 bouts, headlined by a bantamweight title fight between Raul Rosas Jr. and Raoni Barcelos, with jiu-jitsu specialist Rodolfo Vieira facing Robert Bryczek in a middleweight co-main event.
