Ketlen Vieira signs with PFL

Ketlen Vieira has signed with the PFL, marking a major roster addition for the promotion just one month after her departure from the UFC. The Brazilian fighter announced the move via Instagram on Tuesday, expressing gratitude to her team and management while embracing the next phase of her career.
Vieira, currently ranked No. 5 in the MMA Fighting women's bantamweight rankings, was removed from the UFC roster in May following her victory over Jacqueline Cavalcanti at UFC Vegas 117. The 10-5 UFC veteran spent a decade with the promotion starting in 2016, establishing herself as a stalwart of the women's bantamweight division. She also competed once at featherweight during her tenure with the organization.
Since the PFL does not currently operate a women's bantamweight division, Vieira is expected to compete in its featherweight ranks. The timing of her signing underscores the PFL's ongoing efforts to strengthen its roster by recruiting established talent from rival promotions. No debut date has been announced yet, but Vieira's addition gives the PFL another proven competitor in its women's featherweight lineup as the promotion continues to build out its female fighter roster.
