PFL signs former UFC bantamweight contender

Ketlen Vieira, the former UFC bantamweight contender, has signed with the Professional Fighters League, the fighter announced Tuesday. The Brazilian veteran will likely make her PFL debut at featherweight, as the promotion does not currently operate a 135-pound women's division.

Vieira departed the UFC after compiling a 10-5 record in the Octagon. Her final UFC appearance came at Fight Night 276, where she notched a significant victory by halting Jacqueline Cavalcanti's eight-fight winning streak. During her time with the promotion, Vieira earned notable wins over established names including Holly Holm, Miesha Tate, Macy Chiasson, Cat Zingano, and Sara McMann.

The move represents a fresh start for the fighter, who announced the signing on social media. "Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my life," Vieira posted on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the opportunity. While the PFL has not yet confirmed a specific debut date, the signing continues the league's ongoing efforts to strengthen its women's roster across multiple weight classes.
