UFC signs Raul Rosas Jr.’s brother

The Ultimate Fighting Championship has signed Jessie Rosas, the older brother of bantamweight prospect Raul Rosas Jr., to a promotional deal. Jessie is set to make his UFC debut on August 8 at UFC Fight Night 284 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas.

The 23-year-old Rosas (8-1) brings an impressive regional resume that includes stints with UWC, Urijah Faber's A1 Combat, Fury FC, and 559 Fights. He has recorded six finishes across his eight professional victories—two by knockout and four by submission—establishing himself as an aggressive finisher. For his Octagon bow, Jessie will face Miles Johns (15-5 MMA, 6-5 UFC), a veteran fighter currently on a three-fight losing streak.

Jessie is two years older than his younger brother Raul, who made his UFC debut at just 18 and has since established himself as a rising talent. The 21-year-old Raul is riding a five-fight winning streak following his only professional loss and most recently defeated Rob Font via decision. The Rosas brothers' dual presence on the UFC roster represents an emerging fighting family within the organization's bantamweight division.
