The Brazilian welterweight (20-6) faced pressure throughout his bout against surging Fazil (10-2) in the evening's main event, appearing to fade as the fight progressed. Brito revealed post-fight that despite appearing fully committed throughout the bout, he had strategically conserved energy for a decisive moment. "I move different. I cut angles in a completely different way," Brito explained. "Throughout the fight, it looked like I was going for it all.
