Mostafa Rashed Nada ends 10-year trilogy with guillotine at PFL MENA 11
The Professional Fighters League MENA continued its tournament qualifying rounds on October 2, 2026, with multiple fighters securing spots in December finals across five weight classes.
Mostafa Nada (10-4) concluded a 10-year trilogy with fellow former Desert Force titleholder Osama Elseady (9-4) at PFL MENA 11. In Round 2, Nada capitalized after Elseady dove for a takedown by sprawling and immediately countering with a guillotine choke. Nada adjusted position and forced Elseady to tap at 2:33 of the second frame, earning his third career submission victory.
At welterweight, co-main event fighter Badreddine Diani (12-4, 5-1 PFL)—a former UAE Warriors champion—reversed momentum against IMMAF medalist Hazem Kayyali (3-1-2, 1-1 PFL). After defending multiple submission attempts in Round 1, Diani survived Kayyali's jumping knee and guillotine attempt before locking a tight arm-triangle choke that forced a tap at 3:05 of Round 2. Diani qualified for the 170-pound final on December 11. In the other welterweight semifinal, Brave Combat Federation veteran Abdelkrim Zouad (9-2, 2-0 PFL) defeated Omar Hussein (12-8, 1-3 PFL) by unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27).
At lightweight, Ylies Djiroun (26-9, 2-2 PFL) spoiled the perfect record of Assem Ghanem (7-1, 1-1 PFL), stopping a takedown and forcing the referee to stop the action at 3:06 of Round 1 after unloading strikes against the cage. Djiroun will face 2025 finalist Mohammad Fahmi (7-1, 3-1 PFL) in the final; Fahmi earned his spot with a unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) over Ahmed El Sisy (8-3, 1 NC; 2-2 PFL).
At featherweight, Mehdi Saadi (8-2, 2-0 PFL) narrowly edged Shadi Kabbani (5-1, 1-1 PFL) via split decision (29-28, 29-28, 28-29), earning a final matchup against Elias Boudegzdame (21-9, 2-1 PFL), who advanced without fighting after his scheduled opponent Islam Youssef withdrew due to visa issues and replacement Brice Picaud could not make weight.
In women's action, Fatima Al Ammari stopped Aya Lounes with a knee and punches at 1:05 of Round 2. In the card's opening amateur bantamweight bout, Alridah Alnemar outpointed Ali Alshowakh by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
