PFL adds women’s flyweight contest for July New York card
The Professional Fighters League has added another bout to its July 31 card at UBS Arena in Long Island, New York. Montana De La Rosa will face Tatiana Postarnakova in a women's flyweight matchup at PFL New York.
De La Rosa, a 31-year-old Montana native, arrives as a 23-fight veteran and will make her PFL debut following her release from the UFC. She compiled a 6-5-1 record under the UFC banner, highlighted by wins over Andrea Lee, Rachael Ostovich, and Ariane Lipski da Silva. De La Rosa was originally scheduled to face Luana Carolina in 2025, but the bout was scrapped when her opponent failed a weight cut, allowing her UFC contract to be fulfilled.
Postarnakova, a Russian fighter making her second PFL appearance of 2024, remains undefeated at 5-0. She made her PFL debut in March with a unanimous decision victory over Elora Dana. Before joining the league, Postarnakova competed primarily in Russian promotions, including Nashe Delo, which traditionally restricted grappling to 30-second exchanges. She has impressed early in her career by recording four of her five victories in Round 1, establishing a knockout-heavy record. De La Rosa will represent her most significant test to date.
