RAF 12 gets new main event with Henry Cejudo-Merab Dvalishvili 3

Henry Cejudo and Merab Dvalishvili will meet for the third time when they headline RAF 12 on August 22 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, with the Real American Freestyle lightweight crossover championship on the line.

The matchup replaces Colby Covington versus Belal Muhammad as the event's main event. That bout has been rescheduled to RAF 13 on September 19 at Watsco Center in Miami.

Cejudo, a former two-division UFC champion and Olympic gold medalist, and Dvalishvili, a former UFC champion, have split their recent encounters. At UFC 298, Dvalishvili dominated Cejudo, winning by unanimous decision through superior wrestling. The two then clashed on the wrestling mats at RAF Georgia on July 11 in Tbilisi, where Dvalishvili emerged victorious in front of his home crowd after Cejudo had built an early 8-0 advantage. Dvalishvili now holds a 2-0 record under the RAF banner, while Cejudo has split his two RAF appearances, with a win over Urijah Faber balanced by the loss to Dvalishvili.
