Colby Covington makes quick work of Belal Muhammad with shutout victory in RAF 13 main event

Colby Covington dominated Belal Muhammad in the RAF 13 main event at Miami's Watsoc Center, securing a dominant technical fall victory in just over one period of wrestling. Covington, the former UFC interim welterweight champion who retired from MMA earlier this year to focus on RAF full-time, improved his record in the promotion to a perfect 4-0 and successfully defended his RAF cruiserweight crossover title.
The match was briefly paused early when Covington's thumb contacted Muhammad's eye, forcing a stoppage. Upon restart, Covington immediately went to work, executing a powerful takedown and scoring a four-point move to jump ahead 4-0. He added two more points from a front headlock sequence before the first period ended with Covington leading 6-0.
In the second period, Muhammad attempted to generate offense but struggled against Covington's suffocating wrestling. When the referee placed Muhammad on the shot clock for inactivity, Covington capitalized with a go-behind sequence that added two more points. As Muhammad desperately tried to escape, he was forced out of bounds, resulting in a passivity penalty that gave Covington his tenth point and sealed the technical fall at 10-0.
After the match, Covington called out several potential opponents, including Gilbert Burns—who had also competed earlier in the night—as well as Kamaru Usman and Khamzat Chimaev. Covington remains undefeated in RAF and has established himself as a formidable wrestler since his transition from MMA.
