Bella Mir has 2 big tests in 11 days following DWCS setback
Bella Mir, coming off a Dana White's Contender Series loss to Alex Apodaca in August, faces a rapid return to competition with two major events lined up over 11 days. The former NCAA wrestling champion is scheduled to compete at the U23 Wrestling World Championships in Las Vegas from October 12–18, followed by her RAF 14 mixed martial arts bout against Hope Chase on October 23.
Mir retained her No. 2 position on the 2026–27 U.S. Senior National Team after her planned wrestle-off with Kennedy Blades did not materialize. The wrestling opportunity allows her to represent the United States at the international championship before returning to MMA competition. Currently 4–1 as a professional fighter, Mir will look to bounce back from her DWCS setback and gain momentum heading into her RAF debut against Chase.
