Bogdan Guskov calls Valter Walker 'a moron' after wild training camp prank
Bogdan Guskov brushed off a crude prank from training partner Valter Walker ahead of their respective UFC Abu Dhabi bouts on July 25, characterizing the Brazilian heavyweight as chaotic but ultimately a respected teammate.
Both fighters train at Gor MMA under coach Gor Azizyan. Walker, known for his boisterous personality and public stunts, recently pulled an inappropriate prank on camera involving Guskov, who responded with unfazed candor when discussing the incident. "He is a f*cking moron. A fool. A f*cking idiot. I didn't expect that. I don't understand him at all," Guskov told Red Corner MMA. "He's got chaos in his head. We've got to get used to his stupidity. As they say, he is a moron, but he's our own moron. Our homie."
Despite his colorful criticism, Guskov (18-3) made clear he harbors no serious grudge and didn't attempt to prevent Walker from posting the footage on social media. The Uzbek fighter noted that Walker would likely post it regardless and acknowledged the Brazilian's unpredictable nature as part of their gym dynamic. Guskov steps up on short notice against Magomed Ankalaev (20-2) in the main event, while Walker (15-1) faces heavyweight Thomas Petersen (11-4) on the same card.
