Logan Paul wants Conor McGregor fight in WWE: ‘Conor’s cooked’

Logan Paul has called for a professional wrestling match against Conor McGregor, suggesting the UFC icon is now better suited to WWE than mixed martial arts following his loss at UFC 329.
McGregor suffered a devastating knee injury in the opening moments of his rematch with Max Holloway earlier this month, forcing him to withdraw from competition for approximately another year. The injury compounds an already lengthy absence; McGregor had been sidelined for five years following a catastrophic leg break sustained against Dustin Poirier, making his return at UFC 329 his first fight in half a decade.
On his YouTube channel, Paul suggested that McGregor's current state mirrors that of aging boxers attempting comebacks—citing Mike Tyson as an example of an elite fighter whose extended layoff proved detrimental upon return. Paul argued that unlike Jon Jones, whose five-year absence was accompanied by rigorous training, McGregor's activities during his break were not consistent with elite athletic preparation.
Paul noted the irony of McGregor, who has previously criticized WWE and its stars on social media, now effectively competing in wrestling rather than fighting. He claimed to have texted his management after UFC 329, proposing a crossover bout between two prominent WWE-adjacent figures and urging them to "make a bag" from such a contest. According to Paul, his boss responded that McGregor believes he is finished competing.
While McGregor has publicly stated his intention to rehabilitate his injury and return next summer for his final UFC contract fight, Paul expressed skepticism. He warned that another performance similar to his UFC 329 showing could signal the end of McGregor's fighting career, making a wrestling crossover potentially his next avenue.
