Magomed 'Wild Chanco' Zaynukov set for UFC debut in Abu Dhabi

Magomed Zaynukov is set to make his long-awaited UFC debut against fellow undefeated lightweight prospect Damian Rzepecki at UFC Abu Dhabi on July 25 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island.

Zaynukov, known as "Wild Chanco," has generated considerable buzz despite never competing in the octagon. The Dagestani striker earned his UFC contract with an impressive unanimous decision victory on Dana White's Contender Series in October. His profile rose significantly when Islam Makhachev introduced him to Demetrious Johnson during the flyweight legend's visit to Dagestan. With a perfect 8–0 record, Zaynukov has showcased dangerous striking, finishing five of his eight professional wins.

Rzepecki represents a stern test for the hyped prospect. The 24-year-old Polish fighter brings an unblemished 10–0 record and exceptional finishing rate—nine of his ten wins have come by stoppage, including five submissions and four knockouts. At lightweight, both competitors represent the next wave of undefeated talent, and the bout figures to be a genuine clash of top prospects rather than a showcase fight.
