Colby Covington vs. Khamzat Chimaev title match headlines RAF Abu Dhabi

Colby Covington will defend his RAF cruiserweight crossover title against Khamzat Chimaev in the main event of RAF Abu Dhabi on November 14 at Etihad Arena, the promotion confirmed. This marks Covington's second title defense following his capture of the championship via points decision over Arman Tsarukyan at RAF 11 in July and a successful first-period tech fall victory against Belal Muhammad at RAF 13 earlier this month.

Chimaev, already scheduled to headline the Abu Dhabi card, enters undefeated in RAF competition at 3-0. "Borz" has notched pinfall wins over Dillon Danis and Tyron Woodley, along with a recent tech fall victory over former UFC opponent Gilbert Burns at RAF 13. The Swedish grappler is set to compete two weeks prior at RAF 14 in Las Vegas against Robbie Lawler in the co-main event.

Following his submission of Muhammad, Covington warned Chimaev to be mindful of his championship aspirations. The Abu Dhabi debut also features Arman Tsarukyan, along with elite grapplers Jordan Burroughs, Henry Cejudo, and Kyle Snyder scheduled to compete.
