Shannon Clark vs. Lucero Acosta booked for PFL Chicago on Oct. 16

The Professional Fighters League has added another women's flyweight bout to its Chicago card scheduled for October 16. Shannon Clark will face Lucero Acosta in the 125-pound matchup, marking Acosta's PFL debut.

Acosta arrives with a 6–2 professional record, having earned victories by knockout, submission, and decision. Clark, a former Legacy Fighting Alliance champion, made her PFL debut at the promotion's San Diego event earlier in the summer, securing a third-round technical knockout that immediately elevated her into the women's flyweight rankings despite appearing in only one promotion bout.

The Clark–Acosta matchup joins a growing PFL Chicago lineup headlined by an undisputed women's flyweight title fight between Liz Carmouche and Jena Bishop. The card also features Timur Khizriev versus Gabriel Braga, Denis Goltsov against Maxwell Djantou Nana, Alexandr Shabliy facing Landry Ward, Sarvarjon Khamidov battling Rafael do Nascimento, Oualy Tandia squaring off against Kendly St. Louis, and Eliezer Kubanza meeting Trey Waters.

PFL Chicago airs Saturday, October 16 at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN.
